I am former nurse who needed health data to answer questions in various settings, and always wished for a central directory of locally useful resources. I started the Community Vital Signs project as a medical student, which led to the LocalHealth.info website, hosted since 2003 by CWRU Med School Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
